Brief Motivation
I am an ICT professional with over 17 years of experience in telecommunications, software development, and entrepreneurship, combining strong technical expertise with proven leadership in digital transformation projects across Africa. My career spans roles as Chief Technical Officer, Project Director, and Senior Solutions Engineer within ICCNET Group and its subsidiaries, where I have led major national and regional projects in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital services.
Beyond the private sector, I actively contribute to Internet governance and digital policy. As President of the Internet Society Cameroon Chapter (2024–2027) and National Coordinator of African Civil Society on the Information Society, I have championed inclusive, secure, and open Internet initiatives. I am also an AfPIF Fellow, and have consistently worked to promote interconnection, local content, and community-driven Internet development in Africa.
My background in project management (MPM® certified), IT service management (ITIL), and network security (Fortinet) equips me to bring both strategic vision and operational rigor to AFRINIC’s mission. I am motivated to strengthen AFRINIC’s role in advancing Internet growth, resilience, and equitable access across the continent, ensuring that technical, regulatory, and community perspectives are well-represented at board level.
Professional Background
With more than 17 years of experience in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), I have built solid expertise in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, network security, entrepreneurship, and the management of complex projects, both in the private sector and within civil society organizations.
Since February 2024, I have been serving as Chief Technical Officer at ICCSOFT S.A. (subsidiary of ICCNET Group), where I define the company’s long-term technology strategy and lead innovation, from technical architecture design to software development team management. Between 2023 and 2024, I held the same position at RESYTAL S.A., after serving as Project Director at ICCNET S.A. (2020–2023). In that capacity, I supervised major national projects such as the National Emergency Telecommunications Network (2023) and the monitoring of ICT infrastructures for the Africa Cup of Nations (2016).
From 2015 to 2020, I worked as a Senior Solutions Engineer at ICCNET S.A., where I contributed to the design and integration of technological solutions, public procurement processes, and customer capacity-building initiatives. My earlier professional experience includes roles as Business Manager at Saya Sarl (2013–2015), IT Manager at Netcom.cm (2009–2013), and Application Development Engineer, where I gained strong foundations in software development, IT operations, and systems integration.
Beyond the private sector, I actively contribute to Internet governance and AFRINIC’s community processes. I currently serve as President of the Internet Society Cameroon Chapter (2024–2027) and National Coordinator of African Civil Society on the Information Society, where I advocate for an open, secure, and inclusive Internet. Over the years, I have participated in AFRINIC policy development discussions, attended AFRINIC meetings, and contributed to capacity-building efforts in Africa’s Internet number resources management ecosystem. My selection as an AfPIF Fellow (2024), supported by the Internet Society in partnership with AFRINIC, strengthened my engagement with Africa’s interconnection and IP resource community. These experiences have deepened my understanding of AFRINIC’s mission, challenges, and its role in fostering Internet growth and resilience across the continent.
I hold professional certifications including Master Project Manager (MPM®), ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, and Fortinet Network Security Associate (NS1–NS3). Combined with my academic background in Telecommunications, Computer Science, and International Entrepreneurship, these qualifications give me a unique blend of technical, managerial, and governance skills.
This diverse experience — bridging technical expertise, Internet governance leadership, and direct engagement with AFRINIC’s community — positions me to contribute effectively to AFRINIC’s mission of ensuring sustainable, transparent, and equitable Internet resource management in Africa.
