Designation Process

Welcome to the official onboarding process for designation of designated representative* for Year 2026

 

As part of our commitment to transparency, fairness, and inclusive governance, AFRINIC is implementing a streamlined and secure process to ensure every member organisation in good standing has an opportunity to participate meaningfully.

*Designated Representative means an individual selected to represent his/her respective organisation for the purpose of enabling that organisation to attend and participate in AFRINIC’s AGMM, SGMM, and Public Policy Meetings (PPM), including participation in any AFRINIC 2026 elections. Accordingly, the Designated Representative shall also serve as the designated voter for his/her respective organisation.

  • Coordinate with other registered contacts and ask your CEO or CTO to designate one of you as a Representative.

  • If you are chosen as the Designated Representative, download the Designation of Representative Authorisation.

  • Fill in the template with accurate information

  • Print the letter on the company letterhead.

  • Get the CEO, CTO or COO's signature.

  • Scan both the letter and your government ID

  • Fill the online Registration form
